First-session guide

Anime Zero Beginner Guide

Start Anime Zero by completing the lobby tutorial, claiming eligible codes and equipping a usable weapon. Finish one Story run before committing your resources to a long grind. Then inspect that weapon's Evolution requirements and farm the missing materials from the stage preview.

For LY*'s Roblox experience. PC controls are listed separately from mobile or controller prompts. The game is actively developed; an older guide's slot count or no-timer claim may no longer apply.

First-session route

Use the Anime Zero experience by LY*, place ID 114574503491412. This guide concerns that Roblox dungeon RPG; a Re:Zero anime page or a World // Zero guide does not apply.

  1. Complete the lobby tutorial. Check the movement and skill prompts on your device. You should be able to move, activate your currently available skills and return to the lobby controls before choosing a difficult run.
  2. Claim eligible rewards. Open the right-side Codes panel and use the reported code list. Meet the displayed level gate and read the redemption response. A code’s publisher reward total is not a guaranteed starting balance.
  3. Inspect the Arsenal and your slots. Check the resource selected before spinning and the slots you have unlocked. Equip a usable result rather than spending every spin chasing a rare kit. See Normal versus Lucky Spins for the actual reported odds.
  4. Start a Story run you can complete. Use Create Lobby, choose Story, then the available map, act and difficulty. Check the stage’s reward and material preview. The mode guide explains the selection fields.
  5. Clear the objective and inspect the result. Follow the enemy and wave indicators, handle the final encounter and look for the completed-run reward screen. An exit or a partial payout is not the same as clearing the act.
  6. Choose one next upgrade. Visit Evolution for the weapon you actually used. Record its missing items and choose a stage that lists them. You now have a repeatable goal rather than an unfocused grind.

The useful milestone is one working loadout and one completed Story act. You do not have to obtain a particular Arcane weapon, a raid reward or a fully evolved kit before that first clear.

Switch the two equipped weaponsTEquip both combat slots first; extra collection slots do not add a third active moveset.
Activate regular skillsThe displayed 1 / 2 / 3 inputsA kit can have variations or follow-up casts; use its current on-screen labels.
Use the ultimateGEvolution unlocks the ultimate; owning the weapon alone does not unlock it.
Interact with the Evolution NPCEThe interaction prompt is shown when you reach the NPC.

The dungeon references also describe Q for dash on PC. Use the dash to leave an attack instead of assuming an ability grants protection throughout its animation. Mobile and controller users should follow the tutorial and current on-screen buttons; keyboard letters are not a controller mapping.

Update 3 reports increased collection capacity to 15 slots. That does not change the separately reported limit of two weapons equipped for combat. Avoid treating an older recommendation to buy a third collection slot as permission to take three active kits into a run.

Evolve your working weapon

Evolution unlocks the weapon’s ultimate. Games.GG’s original guide describes the following process:

  1. Open Areas in the lobby and travel to Evolution.
  2. Interact with the NPC using the displayed prompt, reported as E on PC.
  3. Select the weapon you intend to develop. Scroll through the entire requirement list; some ingredients sit below the first screen.
  4. Compare owned quantities with required quantities. For each shortage, inspect the material list on the relevant stage’s queue screen.
  5. Run a stage you can clear reliably, collect the items, then return and select Evolve when every requirement is met.

The recognizable result is the completed upgrade and an available ultimate. If the button remains locked, check all rows instead of assuming the first ingredient was the whole cost. The source also recommends closing and reopening a panel that shows inconsistent quantities; a persistent discrepancy needs an inventory and requirement check, not repeated spending.

Choose a weapon you regularly use. If its recipe requires a raid you cannot yet clear, compare the recipe for your second useful weapon rather than dividing materials among several unfinished upgrades. The dungeon farming guide explains how to target missing items.

Spend with a clear goal

Skill tree: TechWiser and MK prioritize Attack/damage and Crit improvements after establishing the first working kit. Apply that advice to a weapon you use, and check each node’s displayed effect before spending tokens.

Traits: a workable result is a stopping point, not a reason to reroll indefinitely. The progression sources suggest Focus 3 for Immortal Sovereign and offensive options for a main damage kit. The trait-purpose comparison distinguishes damage from farming value.

Accessories: the sources describe four accessory slots. Compare the recipe and slot before crafting; shared materials such as Fine Cloth may also be needed for Evolution. The creator advice to skip early Common/Uncommon crafts is a resource-saving recommendation, not proof that every low-rarity accessory is useless.

Difficulty: increase it when you can finish the act consistently. TechWiser recommends Nightmare Story for a build that can handle it, but explicitly suggests Hard if Nightmare clears take too long. A first account should not turn that conditional advice into repeated failed Nightmare attempts.

Keep timer and objective indicators visible. The newer Story-farming recording reports a timer, so the older claim that every dungeon has no time limit is not a safe rule for the current client.
