Names & acquisition

Anime Zero Characters

In Anime Zero, character, unit and weapon often describe the combat kit you equip. Look up the kit's game name before following an anime-name guide: most baseline kits come from the Arsenal, while Shadow Monarch and Flame Director are raid rewards. Later Trials reward labels are listed separately below.

The reference table contains the 14 distinct kits enumerated in the dated Beebom/Gam3s sources. Inspiration names are reported aliases, not extra entries or a complete official Update 3 roster.

What character means here

These are equipable movesets, not a Re:Zero or Fate/Zero story cast. A baseline kit has a basic attack, three regular skills and an ultimate that needs Evolution. You can equip two kits and switch between them during a run.

Use the left-hand game name in the table for menu lookups. Sources may write King's Gambit or Kings Gambit; that spelling variation does not establish a second weapon. Likewise, Cataclysm and the reported Miyabi inspiration should not be counted as two owned kits.

The baseline rarity ladder is Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Arcane → LYTH. Some older guides also use Zenless for a high-rarity label, while Zenless is separately used for a banner. A banner name does not change Mochi Commander's reported Arcane rarity.

This is an identification reference for the source's enumerated set. Counts of 11, 12, 14, 18 or 25 in other snapshots may involve different dates or duplicated aliases; none is automatically a reliable total for your current client.

Trials names and reward goals

The October 12 AllThingsHow reference separates these two reported sets. Preserve the target name and the type of requirement when choosing a goal.

Creator descriptions sometimes call all of these units or weapons. The labels above are the publisher's distinction, not a verified one-to-one alias map. Check the live reward panel for the exact target, whether it requires reaching or clearing a room, and any current season rule. A Room 175 reward is not interchangeable with a co-op Room 150 clear.

Use the right acquisition route

Arsenal: use the Normal/Lucky odds reference for the listed pool. Mochi Commander is reported on the Zenless banner, so select the correct banner rather than assuming every kit appears in every pool.

Raids: Shadow Monarch and Flame Director are rewards from their respective raid paths. Spending more normal Arsenal spins does not replace a successful raid attempt.

Trials: follow the named room or leaderboard condition. Use the correct solo/co-op mode for rewards that specify one.

After identifying a kit, consult the PvE comparison for investment priorities and the pair reference for a second weapon. Duplicate-roll handling and some new-name mappings are not established by these sources; inspect the client before assuming a repeat becomes currency or replaces your previous kit.
